Next enrollments: THIS WAS THE LAST ONE!!

As SoC is coming to an end, this was our final enrollments!! From now on, the group remains closed until the storyline is over.

To join, please submit your character sheet to the 'Approval Stage Folder'. Once the countdown is over, we will read through all applications and send invites to those who made it in.

As usually we will try having an equal amount of members in all factions! This means in case one factions has too many attendants, we might ask some of you to switch faction.</sub></sub>


Reasons we declined characters usually:

• Overfilled Faction.
  Since we need to put equal numbers of members into each faction, we had to be more strikt in some factions.

• Unfinished Apps.
  It is too bad some didn't make it in time, but we can't let unfinished characters in.

• History makes no sense / Character didn't fit the setting.
  Zion is the WORLD everyone lives in, so there can't be places like 'earth' etc. Things like Genetic Engeneering, clones, etc... do not exist in this world so please no more genetically modified characters...

• Clichee-characters/Mary Sueness
  Characters that fulfilll too many typical clichees,... Both parents dead, wants revenge on them, socially rather distant and cold,.... that's an example for a typical Mary Sue or clichee character. There are many more mary sue-types, but we declined those who sounded too clichee for us.

• Ignoring Moderators or Admins.
  We have a 2 week application period so the mods and admins can actually read over the apps beforehand, giving hints here and there what needs to be changed to make it into the group. Ignoring this advice or trying to test out the gray-zones of the rules can lead to not being accepted as well.

• Overpowered.
  Unbalanced characters with no weaknesses at all that surpass most other soldiers with ease...

• Offending.
  It is alright to dislike another faction, but please still show respect toward them and don't add something that is untypical for another faction. (For example, Caelius won't run around and slaughter earthran villages for supplies... that might match Ares, but not Caelius. Read the faction journals for more details please.)

• Being insulting/rude/etc...
  Misbehaving in chat, the frontpage, journals, failing to read the rules and journals -entirely-,... before enrollments close can be a reason why your character was declined even if the character itself applied to the rules. Misbehaving in any kind of way (insulting members and guests, commiting art-theft, etc... will lead to either a warning or even a direct ban from the group even after you were accepted. We want our members to feel welcomed and enjoying their time in the group, hence we enforce the rules stricktly.)

• No correct faction.
  We are a war-RP. Meaning the character has to somehow take part in the battles as well and pick a side. Being completely neutral or hiding from the battles, isolating oneself to not get cought in the fight of either side just doesn't work. We are sorry, but you HAVE to decide to join a faction. You don't have to take the job seriously, but your character has to be enrolled in the war somehow or interacting in the story-quests is impossible.

• Too vague character-info.
  The one thing we pointed out in the rules most often We are chosing members concerning the description below the application... And a few lines just werent enough, sorry... This doesn't mean your have to write a giiiiiiant history about the character, but the reader needs to get the feeling the character is developed to some point at least.

• Traced or stolen art.
  As members of DeviantArt, we are all artists and while we are aware that not everyone is a digital or traditional artist, it is strictly forbidden to trace, steal or reference other art (especially without proper credit given). In case you 'can't draw', it is allowed to commission/ask someone else to draw your character art for you, but once again, proper credit has to be given.

Looking for Moderators

We are looking for new commanders.

• What's the job of a Moderator?
  Since our story-events and possible outcomes are all prepared already, the main-job of the mods is to answer questions and help with the points and submissions. (Counting history-points after every story-event, updating the points on the frontpage, helping with little events...)
  If you feel like coming up with an event on your own, sure thing, let's talk about it! But it is not required to become a moderator.

• How to apply as Moderator?
  To apply as a moderator, please send us a note with a link to your character and tell us a little about yourself. How often are you on DA? Have you RPed before? Modded a group before? Anything that you think might be important to us~
